To connect nonprofit entities with funding sources through strategy development, project refinement, training, and proposal writing.
LVGS primarily works with established small and mid-size nonprofits with a 501c3 designation in the Greater Lehigh Valley. We seek to work with clients who are going through a stage of growth - capital campaign, large-scale program, expanding geographic reach, or just looking to formalize or grow their grant program.
Finding an experienced grant writer is not always an easy thing to do. By hiring LVGS you will spend less money and time on your grant-related tasks than if you were to hire an entry-level fundraiser to do the same amount of work. Increase your chances of success by using an expert who is familiar with the funders, local leaders, and organizations across the Lehigh Valley.
Using Foundation Directory Online, GrantStation, and other research databases, LVGS will identify corporate, government, and foundation funders for your organization.
LVGS helps you work through the details of your project to increase fundraising success through logic models, program/project budgets, and interviewing.
LVGS can prepare all types of grant applications and required attachments on your behalf. Once awarded, we can also prepare your progress and financial reports, and ensure overall compliance.
Our motto is quality over quantity - LVGS can create a grant strategy specific to your organization that will produce the best results with the least amount of effort.
LVGS provides in-depth training and guidance to new grant writers in the nonprofit sector while helping them develop a strategy, identify prospects, and create boiler plate narratives.
If your organization already has a grant writer who could use some assistance, LVGS can create customized boiler plates on your programs and projects that can be easily adapted for a wide range of proposals.

"It has been less than a year, but I was immediately impressed with Julie's ability to quickly become knowledgeable on the ins and outs of the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley. Her attention to detail and efficient work as our grant writer has been a huge help for our organization. Julie has been a true asset to us and will be for any non-profit requiring assistance with the grant writing and program development." - Amanda Buss, Executive Director of Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley
"LVGS is a pleasure to work with, has successfully secured funding for our organization, and is dedicated to providing quality service." - Megan Pildis, VP of Business Development of the National Museum of Industrial History
"Our organization has a need that we are unable to fill at this time. Julie is dedicated to working through some of the challenges we are facing in order to make sure we are successful in receiving the grant funding needed to help our organization operate, grow, and succeed. She quickly pivots when an approach doesn't work and has adopted our mission as her own." - Stefanie Timmins, Director of Development of the Lehigh Valley Zoo
To successfully raise money for your nonprofit organization, you cannot rely on grants alone. LVGS maintains a network of consultants who can provide guidance and assistance in other areas of fundraising such as individual and major giving, donor relations and marketing, planned giving, and special events.
